“But, be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”
Many years ago, I heard Ossie Davis at the first Congressional Conference in Washington, D. C. make this statement: “ It is not the man, it is the plan ; it is not the rap, it is the map.” Do you have a plan for your life? Are you waking daily toward your destiny? Without a map very little will happen in your life.
Many people spend forty years working on a job that they hated. Others spend the best years of their lives with frustration and anger because they do not pursue their dreams and goals. Your life is in your hands. God is not going to force you to do anything. But he will help you once you make a decision that you want more out of life.
We have three months left in the year 2010. The year was designed for you to receive blessings beyond what you thought possible. It is a year that all things were to be possible because of your faith and expectation. It is a year designed to fulfill Eph. 3;20. “ Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
Well, I am here to tell you that it is not too late. You have enough time over the next three months to make a complete turn around in your life.
You must develop a burning desire for success in life. Fill your mind and heart with positive desires. Speak nothing but faith producing words filled with great expectations. Remove yourself from people who are negative and only serve to keep you down or fill your mind with unproductive thoughts.
You must develop a winning attitude.
When negativity tries to take over your life, fill your mind with positive thoughts that cancel out any form of negativity. Mix the word of God with everything that you speak. Begin to speak the outcome of your desire before you see the results. Refuse to accept failure or defeat. Know that every challenge is just an opportunity for you to go to the next level of success.
What you think, say, believe and act upon will determine the level of your success. Speak daily affirmations about who you are, such as “ I am a winner. I am more that a conqueror. I have been empowered for success. Victory and success is a way of life for me.”
You cannot reveal your plan of action to everyone. There are more
negative people than positive in the world today. Some things have to be kept between you and God. Just start walking toward what you desire to achieve.
A walk of faith will move mountains and open doors. Without faith in God, yourself, your dreams and goals you will not succeed. Faith is the power of God that will put you over the top. Believe that what you think, say and do will come to pass. Make a decision to become action oriented. You are a winner, begin today to tap into the unlimited power and potential that lives in you.
