“Verily, verily I say unto you. He that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12
A believer’s lack of knowledge and understanding of who he is and the power and authority that has been given to him can cause a lifetime of failure and defeat. As children of God we are more than we know ourselves to be. Knowing who you are will open the door to victory and success in every area of life. Failure is a byproduct of ignorance. What the mind of man cannot conceive it will not be able to achieve. The eyes of man must be open to the truth and have the ability to walk in the knowledge and wisdom that is given in God’s word.
We were created to succeed. Millions of people have bought into a way of life that is hindering them from receiving all that God has prepared for them. Our knowledge of who we are cannot be watered down until we are made to believe that we are just average and ordinary. This way of thinking is far from the truth.
We do not know our enemy and society tells us not to talk about Satan. Even in this article, I have held back for years not wanting to offend anyone by saying too much about Jesus.
From this day on, that will never happen again. Our lives are tied to Jesus. He is our source of power, strength, healing, prosperity, peace and so much more. His power is in each of us who believed on Him.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in the people of God. Rom. 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by the Spirit that dwelleth in you.” The scripture must be meditated on until you get the revelation.
You have been given the authority through righteousness to speak what you want or desire and expect to see it happen. You can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. You can decree a thing and it shall be established. You can make a demand on the word of God through faith and the spoken word and it shall come to pass.
The people of God are still struggling because of a lack of knowledge of how to work the word of God in their lives.
We are suffering when we do not have to suffer. We are living in poverty when the word says the famine is not for us. We are sick when Jesus paid the price for our healing. We are depressed, fearful, worried, angry, tired and filled with unbelief. The enemy has us under is authority because we are accepting defeat. We, God’s people, do not know who we are. But thanks be to God Who gives us the victory. I decree today that the eyes of God’s people will be opened. Greater works we will do. The Spirit of Christ is in us. His DNA in us defines who we are. You are more than a conqueror. We must begin to walk in the authority given to us by God. We have His power, His ability and authority, now walk in it.
