How much do you really know about the power of words? Do you believe that words are seeds ? Well today just might be the beginning of a new way of living based on what you know and believe about what you speak out of your mouth each and every day.
God’s word has spoken that “death and life are in the power of to tongue.” This scripture is not just a clue to the realization of the power of words. It is a confirmation that there is power in the words that you speak out of your mouth, Much of the failure that is experienced in the world happens because we speak defeat and failure without realizing what is being spoken out into the universe.
Your success in life is totally dependent on what you know, speak, believe and act upon on a consistent basis. Through your relationship with God and His power that lives in you, unlimited authority has been given to you. When there is a lack of knowledge and understanding of how to release the power of God out of your life,there will be limited success in life.
I know that many of you who read my articles are often challenged by what you may read. Some of you may be saying, ” I have never heard this before.” Well, trust me, I have been in church all my life from early childhood to a mature adult and until I begin to petition the Holy Spirit to teach me more about God’s plan for my life, I was limited in my knowledge and understanding.
God’s power lives in every believer. His power is there so that you can experience the abundant life that has been promised. His word has given us the assurance that the victory that we desire is available to us. We are only limited by what we do not know and fail to act upon.
Your words are like the seed that the farmer plants in the ground. The universe is the soil that receives your seed and with the work of the Holy Spirit causes those seeds to produce a harvest. Mark 11:23-24 is your confirmation that what you say or speak is seed. The scripture is actually telling the believer speaking is their sowing. When you speak you sow. Words are seeds.
For years I did not know this. I dealt with problems in my life by talking about them. I allowed the enemy to trick me into focusing on the problem instead of the solution to the problem. I spoke over and over the challenges that I was facing. I even said things like, ” I don’t understand why my prayers are not being answered. I would comment that I had prayed for others and had seen the manifestation only to continue to live with something I had prayed or thought I was praying about for years.
When you continue to focus on the problems that you are facing, with worry , fear, doubt and anxiety, you will get more of what you do not want.
Changing your way of thinking and speaking is crucial to success in life. God is waiting for you to line your words according to His promises. You can and will reap a harvest from the seeds that you speak each and every day.
I was living in what I call,” self-inflicted bondage. ” Day after day I talked about my problems while thinking that was praying my problems away. The words that I thought were powerful prayers were just empty words. They were words that released more of what I already had. The problems remained for years. The more I talked about what I was going through the worst it got. I could not figure out what was wrong. The answer came when I begin to ask God to show me what I was doing that did not line up with His word. I had enough knowledge to understand that it was not God forsaking me. I believed His word and knew that He did not want me to fail .Therefore, I knew that it was something that I was or was not doing. It was not until I changed my confession and begin to released the seeds (words) of victory out of my mouth that I begin to reap the harvest that comes into my life through the spoken words coupled with corresponding action.
You still have four plus months to tap into the success that God has planned for your life. It is never too late to begin to experience the victory you deserve. Decide what you want and believe that you can have it. When you pray or hold conversations only speak what you want in life. Then take whatever action is necessary to bring forth the desired manifestation. Never change your confession no matter what the circumstances may appear to be. Your words spoken in faith will produce a harvest. They have become seeds planted the soil of the universe. You can and will receive the harvest that has been spoken in faith.
