As I started to write this article the Holy Spirit spoke into my spirit, ” My people are being destroyed by the power of the words that they are speaking daily out of their mouths.” The word POWER begin to ring in my heart. I then begin to shift into a deeper level of thinking about the power of the spoken word. It is my prayer that thousands of readers will not only read but will begin immediately to become keenly aware of the words that come forth daily out of their mouths.
The words that you release out of your mouth are filled with the power to create either good or bad. When you are unaware of the power that is available to you through the spoken word, you will produce and continue to enhance negativity and failure into your life. Prov. 6:2 tells us, “You are snared with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech out of your mouth.” In other words your words actually serve as an entrapment. This entrapment can be good or bad, positive or negative.
Your Words Have the Power to be able to put your over or under. The Words that come forth daily out of your mouth will return to you fulfilled. Saying that I was just joking or teasing does not change the outcome of the words that have been released out of your mouth.
Everything in the universe is upheld and sustained with and by the Word of God’s power. It is the word spoken out of the mouth of an individual who believes that what he says will come to pass. Before anything can be finalized or completed, it must be spoken.
The entire world was framed and created by the spoken words of God. Without the word being spoken, the world would have remained void and without form. God, Who is Almighty and All-powerful, had to speak His world into existence. You have been created in His image, therefore you must speak the things that you desire to happen in your life into existence. Once the words that represent the desires of your heart have been spoken and corresponding action has been taken, expect to receive what you have decreed and declared to be yours.
If you do not want sickness and disease to live in your body then, stop talking about your illnesses. You must begin to speak divine health and wholeness into your body. If the Body of Christ would affirm their right to live healthy, it would create a need for doctors and surgeons to get a part-time job. Every time you reaffirm you heart condition, high blood pressure, cancer and any other ailment, you reinforce that sickness in your body. You must begin to speak that you have been healed and healing is being manifested in your body.
Sickness and a lack of finances are two of the major problems in the Body of Christ. These two circumstances plague God’s people because of a lack of knowledge. Limited understanding produces fear, worry stress, doubt, anxiety and unbelief. The heart becomes filled with these negative qualities and out of the abundance or overflow of your heart with the negative garbage your mouth begin to speak what currently exist in your life. You will never change the negative circumstances in your life until you change the words that you speak daily.
The Bible says that you have the power to speak to the mountain of circumstances in your life and command them to leave and never return again. When God said that your problems would be thrown into the sea; He expects you to never to troubled with that problem. It can and will disappear forever.
Have you been snared or entrapped by the words that you speak? Are you living beneath your privileges because of the negative and destructive words that are coming forth out of your mouth. Is your success hindered by your words? Have you allowed the enemy to trick you into believing that this is just the way it is, so you have accepted your current lifestyle? 2006 could become the year that you turn your life around and begin to live the victorious and abundant life promised by God.
God would not desire good health, prosperity, and success for all of His children and then allow sickness, and poverty to come upon them. Because there is a lack of knowledge of the authority and power that have been given to God’s people, we fall prey to the satan’s tricks and schemes.
Whatever you believe to be true about your life is what you will eventually speak. Because of the power that lives on the inside of you, powerful words come forth out of you producing after their kind. If you speak negative and destructive words there will be a harvest of negative and destructive events coming into your life.
Make a decision today that you will watch what you say and begin to bring forth a harvest of success and victory into your life.
Death and Life, success and failure, victory and defeat are all in the power of the words that you speak forth out of your mouth. Decree today that you will choose success and victory and begin to speak forth what you want and desire to happen in your life.
