“font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; line-height: 14px;”>The senior sprinter led the Hawks to its second consecutive Missouri Class 4 state championship last weekend in Jefferson City.
“font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>Hester won three gold medals as the Hawks scored 41 points. He won the 200-meter dash in 21.96 seconds. He also won the 400-meter dash in 47.7 seconds. Hester concluded the state meet with a dramatic 48.2-second anchor leg in the 4×400-meter relay to win the race and bring the Hawks its third state championship.
