The 6’1” 164-pound junior enjoyed a record-setting performance in the Jr. Billikens big victory over Vianney Friday night.
Wingo rushed for 312 yards on 11 carries and scored six touchdowns to lead SLUH to a 65-39 victory. Wingo tied the school record for most touchdowns in a game, which was set by his older brother Ronnie Wingo, Jr. three years ago. Four of Wingo’s touchdown runs were more than 40 yards.
Wingo also had two receptions for 46 yards and another 46 yards in returns, giving him 402 all-purpose yards for the game.
For the season, Wingo has rushed for 518 yards and seven touchdowns. SLUH will visit Chaminade in a Metro Catholic Conference game on Friday.
