Travon Williams, University City – Boys Basketball
The 6’4″ senior guard is one of the top guards in the St. Louis metro area. He led the Lions to three consecutive victories last week.
Williams had 23 points to lead the Lions past Wentzville Holt in the GAC/Suburban Shootout at the Family Arena in St. Charles. He had 18 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and five steals in a 75-59 victory over Normandy. He also had 28 points, eight rebounds and four steals in a 88-45 victory over McCluer South-Berkeley.
In eight games, Williams is averaging 23.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.6 steals in leading U. City to a 6-2 record.
University City will face Marquette in the first round of the Meramec Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
