“font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; line-height: 14px;”>Watkins was one of the individual standouts at the Missouri Class 3 state championships in Jefferson City last weekend.
“font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>Watkins won four gold medals in leading the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in the team standings. Watkins won the state title in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
“font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Verdana;”>Watkins also anchored the Bulldogs to state championships in the 4×100- and 4×200-meter relays. His anchor leg in the 4×200 brought the Bulldogs from behind to the state title.
