The 5’7” junior point guard led Ladue to the championship of the D.C. Wilcutt Tournament at CBC last week.
Johnson had 16 points and eight assists to lead the Rams to a 60-58 upset of host CBC in the championship game last Friday night.
In the semifinals, Johnston had 20 points and 11 assists to lead the Rams to a 65-50 victory over Fort Zumwalt North. In the Rams’ first-round victory over Fort Zumwalt West, Johnston had 14 points and 10 assists.
A three-year starter, Johnston is averaging 14 points and nine assists a game to lead the Rams to a 12-3 record.
