The 5’11” 176-pound junior was a prime-time performer in the Flyers’
34-21 victory over O’Fallon last Friday night.
Taylor caught four passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns in the East Side’s Southwestern Conference showdown victory. He scored on TD passes of 75 and 30 yards.
Taylor also had two of the Flyers’ five interceptions on the evening as the team curtailed an explosive O’Fallon offense. For the season, Taylor has 54 tackles and two interceptions from his defensive back position.
East St. Louis will take its four-game winning streak into Friday night’s conference game against Granite City.
