The senior standout won two events at the Dale Collier Invitational at Kirkwood last Saturday.
Chesson swept both the 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles while posting impressive times in the process.
Chesson won the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.7 seconds, then came back to win the 300-meter intermediates hurdles in 37.66 seconds.
One of the top athletes in the state of Missouri, Chesson won the Class 4 state championship in the 300-meter hurdles as a junior in 2011.
Chesson was also a standout wide receiver for the Rams’ football team during the fall. He will attend the University of Michigan on a football scholarship next season.
