The 6’7” junior forward averaged 28.5 points a game in a couple of Red Devils’ victories last week.
Hellems had 24 points, four rebounds and two assists in a 73-41 victory over Vianney. He followed up with 33 points and seven rebounds in a 92-89 victory over Champaign Central at the Highland Shootout last Saturday.
For the season, Hellems is averaging 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in leading the Red Devils to a 12-1 record.
