The junior track standout continued her dominance this season by winning three events at the Fort Zumwalt North Invitational.
Friar took home gold medals in the long jump, triple jump and 100-meter dash. Her winning efforts in the jumps were 17 feet in the long jump and 37 feet 7 inches in the triple jump.
Friar entered her junior season as the top jumper in the state of Missouri. She won indivdiual state championships in both and long and triple jumps at the 2011 Class 4 State Championships in Jefferson City.
She won the state title in the long jump with a leap of 18 feet 11 inches and the triple jump with an effort of 39 feet 11 ¼ inches, which was a foot further than her nearest competitor.
