The senior star concluded her stellar career by winning two individual state titles and cementing her legacy as one of the top sprinters in the history of Missouri prep girls track.
Valentine won the Class 4 girls 100-meter dash for the third consecutive year and she followed up by winning the 200-meter dash state title.
Valentine won the 100 in a sizzling time of 11.51 seconds, which was faster than the state record time of 11.66, set in 1999 by former Kansas City Central star Muna Lee. Since it was wind-aided, there is no official record. Later in the meet, she came back to set a new state record in the 200 with a time of 23.71 seconds.
Valentine will continue her track career at Kansas University next season.
