The standout junior sprinter led the Vikings to the championship of the Gateway Invitational at Washington University last weekend.
Adams won two individual events to lead Francis Howell. She won the 100-meter dash in 12.33 seconds. Adams then won the 400-meter dash with a fast winning time of 55.84.
As a sophomore, Adams won three All-State medals at the 2011 Missouri Class 4 State Championships in Jefferson City.
Adams finished third in the 400 in a time of 55.81. Adams also finished sixth in the 100 and she anchored the Vikings to a fourth-place finish in the 4×400-meter relay.
