The junior standout won two events at last weekend’s Charlie Beck Invitational at University City.
Ricketts swept both jumping events as he won the long jump with a leap of 21 feet and the triple jump with an effort of 45 feet 3 inches.
Ricketts is a transfer Afrom McKinley Classical Leadership where he was a two-time All-State performer at last year’s Class 2 state championships as a sophomore. He finished second in the long jump and third in the triple jump at the state meet.
