Jasmine McCullough
The 6’1” junior forward from Rosary High is enjoying a solid season as a starting forward with the Marquette Golden Eagles.
A two-year starter, McCullough is averaging 12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from the field. She is second on the team in the three categories. She is also second on the team in blocked shots with 15. Marquette is currently 13-4 and among the leaders in the powerful Big East Conference.
McCullough scored a season-high 19 points in a 71-57 victory at Syracuse on Jan. 14. She connected on nine of 14 from the field and added seven rebounds, three assists and four blocked shots. McCullough also added 14 points, five rebounds and one block in Marquette’s 71-62 victory over Pittsburgh.
McCullough was the 2003 St. Louis American Player of the Year and a member of the First Team “Fab Five” All-Stars after averaging 23 points and 15 rebounds during her senior year.
