The sophomore sensation led the Comanches to their second consecutive Illinois Class 2A state championship last weekend in Charleston.
Hudson won three individual events and scored a total of 36 points to lead Cahokia to its repeat state title. She won the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter dashes to sweep all of the sprints.
Hudson posted winning times of 12.02 seconds in the 100, 24.64 in the 200 and a personal best of 54.79 in the 400. She also took home a third-place medal in the long jump to cap off a spectacular performance.
