University of Florida guard and St. Louis native Bradley Beal has decided one season of college basketball has prepared him for the pro game.
Beal, who won’t turn 19 years old until June, is entering the NBA Draft after one very successful freshman campaign with the Gators. He was the team’s second-leading scorer at 14.8 points per game and led the squad with 6.7 rebounds in starting all 37 games.
The Gators finished the season 26-11 overall and reached the West Region final of the NCAA Tournament. Beal averaged 16.5 points in six postseason games.
Beal was a 2011 McDonald’s All-American and graduate of Chaminade High School.
