According to KMOV.com, The St. Charles County sheriff’s office confirmed that professional boxer, 30-year-old Cory Spinks was arrested Monday afternoon on several outstanding traffic warrants from the city of St. Louis.
Police say that Spinks gave a statement in connection with a report of a disturbance Monday afternoon on Mexico Road in St. Peters.
After he left, officers ran a record check on Spinks and found he was wanted by St. Louis police in connection with two outstanding warrants for driving without a license and failure to maintain proof of financial responsibility (no insurance card).
The officers then went to Spinks’ home in St. Charles and arrested him there without incident.
Spinks was released a short time later after posting $300 cash bond and having a court date set in connection with the warrants.
