The Philadelphia Eagles will trade running back DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans, his representatives confirmed on Twitter. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the deal.

The trade cannot become official later this week when the NFL’s new league year begins on March 9. Murray has agreed to a new contract with the Titans but his guaranteed salary remains the same, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

In late February, a report surfaced that the Eagles were open to listening to trade offers for the running back.

Murray joined the Eagles in 2015 after spending four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
