Maplewood High basketball standout Bryton Hobbs recently signed a letter of intent to attend Cowley County Community College in Kansas. The 6’0″ Hobbs was a four-year starter and a key player for the Blue Devils’ back-to-back Class 3 state championship teams in 2008 and 2009. Hobbs finished his career with 1,612 points and 339 rebounds. Hobbs recently signed in a ceremony at the school. Hobbs is joined by Maplewood head coach Corey Frazier, his mother Raquel Johnson and grandmother Harriet Johnson.
