Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant suffered a broken nose during Sunday night’s All-Star game.
Bryant, whose Western Conference team earned an exciting 152-149 victory over their Eastern Conference counterparts, suffered the injury at the hands of Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade due to a hard foul in the third quarter.
Bryant was able to complete the game, after a brief visit with team doctors to stop the bleeding, but was unable to participate in the post-game interviews due to headaches associated with the injury. After further inspection, the Lakers announced he’d suffered a nasal fracture.
It is unlikely the injury will force Bryant to miss any games.
