Former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner threw for 196 of his 313 yards in the second quarter, leading the Arizona Cardinals past the St. Louis Rams for the seventh time in a row 31-10 last night (Sun., Dec. 27).

The Cardinals (10-5) reached 10 regular-season wins for the first time since 1976, 12 years before the franchise moved from St. Louis to Arizona.

The victory kept alive the Cardinals’ slim chance of being the NFC’s No. 2 seed.

St. Louis (1-14), has been plagued by injuries all season, and last night’s game was no exception. The team was without Steven Jackson,

the league’s second-leading rusher, because of a sore lower back.
