St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols accepting an honor at Glen Beck rally in Washington D.C. lead to a protest Saturday outside Busch stadium in St. Louis.

Organizers of a Saturday protest said Glenn Beck is known for being outspoken and making controversial statements. Protesters said there is a high standard of what should be acceptable when it comes to those representing the Cardinals.

Saturday afternoon, residents joined area political and community leaders in a protest outside Busch.

The protest was organized by MOSES or Metropolitan Organizations Strengthening and Empowering Society.

Protesters said it was an inappropriate decision for Tony Larussa and Albert Pujols to participate in an event organized by Glenn Beck.
