Many of the Rams fans that had already started their journey back home after what was believed to be yet another dissapointing loss. But what they probably didn’t realize until the evening s local news was that the Rams managed to inch by San Francisco with a touchdown less than four minutes before the end of the game.
In the few victories that have come by the Rams’ this season, it has been the defense producing some major plays when the team needs them the most. On Sunday, it was the offense stepped behind the wheel to put together the type of drive required to walk away with a victory. Trailing 17-13 with 3:54 to play, quarterback Marc Bulger engineered an 80-yard drive topped off by a 5-yard touchdown toss to receiver Kevin Curtis for a come-from-behind 20-17 win at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday.
