This Sunday, December 2, the St. Louis Rams will celebrate the team’s 75th anniversary when they host the San Francisco 49ers at the Edward Jones Dome. In honor of the 75th anniversary, the team will be wearing the Super Bowl winning throwback uniforms.
Prior to the game, the Rams will host a Celebration with Rams Legends in the Ferrara Theater, located in America’s Center. Rams legends Ernie Conwell, Eric Dickerson, Rosey Grier, Todd Lyght, Jackie Slater and Jack Youngblood will participate in a panel discussion with Rams Charter PSL Owners. The discussion will be moderated by Steve Savard, the Voice of the St. Louis Rams for 101 ESPN.
Former players Vince Ferragamo and Jeff Wilkins will be signing autographs for fans in the Bud Light Party Zone from 10-10:30 a.m., with Isaac Bruce and Mike Lansford signing from 10:30-11 a.m. The Bud Light Party Zone will open at 10 a.m. and can be accessed by using entrance C.
During halftime, the Rams will honor past greats of the organization including: Isaac Bruce, Ernie Conwell, Eric Dickerson, Vince Ferragamo, Rosey Grier, Dennis Harrah, LeRoy Irvin, Deacon Jones, Mike Lansford, Todd Lyght, Tom Mack, Andy McCollum, Lawrence McCutcheon, Tom Nutten, Orlando Pace, Jackie Slater, Adam Timmerman, Jeff Wilkins, Aeneas Williams and Jack Youngblood.
This week leading up to the game day celebration, Rams fans will have the opportunity to take part in the festivities through a variety of online and social media applications.
One way fans can honor the team’s history is through the 75th Ultimate Rams Roster Voting App. By visiting www.stlouisrams.com/Rams75th, fans can vote on their favorite Rams coaches and players to assemble their “ultimate” Rams roster. The application features a list of 75 current and former Rams players from which fans will choose 15 to fill their roster.
In addition, the team is encouraging its fans to share their excitement for the 75th anniversary game with the #Rams75 hashtag. As the hashtag usage reaches certain thresholds, fans will unlock never-before-seen Rams photos.
