Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will not have surgery on his fractured left clavicle and will be out for around eight weeks, according to Pro Football Talk.
Romo confirmed that he wouldn’t need surgery in a tweet on Monday.
Romo suffered the injury after being driven into the ground by a defender in the third quarter of the team’s 20–10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Romo also suffered a broken left clavicle during the sixth game of the 2010 season. He was estimated to miss 6-8 weeks, but ended up missing the rest of the season.
