The talented 5’10” senior guard is off to a terrific start in leading the Pioneers to a 4-1 record.
Through five games, Hurst is stuffing the stat-sheet to the tune of 23.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 4.6 steals a game.
Some of her individual performances have been eye-popping. In Kirkwood’s 65-42 victory over Lindbergh, Hurst had 34 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and six steals. She also had 30 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks against a very good Nerinx Hall team. In the Pioneers’ conference victory over Lafayette last Friday, Hurst had 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
A three-year starter for Kirkwood, Hurst was an All-Suburban West Conference First Team selection as a junior. She signed a national letter of intent to attend Arkansas State in the fall.
