The 6’5” junior forward had a big week in leading the Greyhounds to a third-place finish in the Vianney Tournament.
Thomas averaged 25 points a game in the three games, including a 41-point explosion against Eureka in the third-place game, a Clayton 71-65 victory.
In the first-round game against Riverview Gardens, Thomas scored a game-high 24 points. He followed that up with 20 points in a 73-60 loss to highly-regarded Hazelwood Central in the semifinals. That set the statge for Thomas’ career-high 41 points against Eureka on Friday night.
Through four games this season, Thomas is averaging a robust 29 points and 11 rebounds a game.
Clayton (3-1) is in action tonight at MICDS and on Friday night at John Burroughs
