As the Toronto Raptors won their first NBA Championship in the history of their franchise, St. Louis native Patrick McCaw made a milestone as part of the team.
He became the first player to win three consecutive NBA titles since Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant achieved the feat with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000-2002.
McCaw,23, was a member of the Golden State Warriors for their championship wins in 2017 and 2018 before joining the Raptors this season.
