Earlier today The St. Louis Rams announced that the team was signing defensive tackle Nick Fairley.
Fairley, 27, spent the first four seasons of his career in Detroit. The Lions selected Fairley with the 13th pick of the 2011 draft out of Auburn, where he helped the Tigers win the national championship.
Fairley has 98 tackles, 13 1/2 sacks and four forced fumbles in his career. Fairley sprained his MCL in 2014 and appeared in just eight games.
According to Espn.com, the deal is for one year.
