Chaminade College Prep standout Tyler Cook was selected to participate in the inaugural Nike Basketball Academy, which will take place from June 26-29 in Santa Monica, CA.
In recent years, Nike has staged three different national elite skills camps by positions. This is the first year that all three have been combined into one camp, which will feature many of the nation’s top high school and collegiate players in one setting. National Basketball Association stars such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis will also be on hand as mentors.
The 6’8″ Cook is rated among the Top 100 players in the Class of 2016. He plays with the St. Louis Eagles 17U team during the summer. He is ranked No. 58 in the ESPN.com rankings and No. 79 in the latest Rivals.com rankings. In May, Cook narrowed his final list of colleges to Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Iowa State, Florida and Virginia.
