The Atlantic Ten Conference champion SLU Billikens lost to the Oregon Ducks in the NCAA tournament.
The Bills failed to counter their opponent’s defense and fought from behind most of the game and ultimately fell to Oregon 74 to 57.
The SLU Billikens won national attention reaching the Top 25 list toward the end of the regular season. Their success in the face of adversity created a buzz on campus that students said they appreciated.
2013 was the Billikens’ eighth trip to the NCAA Tournament.
