Antonio Doyle of Lutheran North is one of six St. Louis-area athletes who have made verbal commitments to play football at Mizzou.

University of Missouri football coach Barry Odom has done a very good job on the recruiting trail when it comes to getting St. Louis-area athletes into the fold. The talent in the St. Louis metro area has been plentiful in recent years and Odom has been able to get his share of local standouts to matriculate up the road to Columbia.

Missouri has already received six verbal commitments from the talented Class of 2020, which includes linebacker Antonio Doyle of Lutheran North, receiver Jay Maclin of Kirkwood, defensive tackle Kevon Billingsley of East St. Louis, offensive tackle Mitchell Waters of Mehlville, quarterback Brady Cook of Chaminade and offensive lineman Drake Heismeyer of Francis Howell.

Those 2020 standouts will be joining the local group of 2019 athletes, who are incoming freshman at Mizzou, including offensive lineman Jack Buford of Lutheran North, safety Jalani Williams of Parkway North, receiver CJ Boone of Parkway North, receiver Maurice Massey of Kirkwood and tight end Nick Hea of CBC.
