The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology has an online assessment known as the Life Quality (LQ) Test to help asthmatics determine how well they are living and managing their chronic condition. After clicking “yes” or “no” to 20 quick situational questions, the answers are scored automatically by clicking another button at the bottom of the screen.
If you answer “Yes” to one or more questions, scoring page suggests participants may benefit by visiting an allergist to improve their quality of life, which is no surprise. Allergist or not, what is helpful is having a printed copy of the questions and answers to take to your doctor to discuss.
