Community Women Against Hardship (CWAH) will host its 14th annual Walk-a-Thon & Health Fair on Saturday, May 19 at Tower Grove Park. Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the Grand Entrance –Son of Rest Shelter, with warm up at 8:30 a.m. and the walk beginning promptly at 8:45 a.m. It’s a non-competitive walk/run with three options: 1K, 3K, or 5K. Healthcare booths will be staffed by the Program for the Elimination of Cancer Disparities, Behavioral Health Network, Betty Jean Kerr Peoples Health Centers, Gateway To Oral Health, Knight’s Alzheimer Disease Research Center and Planned Parenthood, among others.
