Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers, Inc. (GHNHC) is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in St. Louis and has been providing comprehensive health care to people in the region for more than 100 years. With a comprehensive scope of services, GHNHC has become the health care home to tens of thousands of area residents.
Grace Hill is accredited through the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Its providers have been educated in some of the best medical and dental schools in the country. They bring with them passion for their patients and a wealth of experience that has allowed Grace Hill to expand its services to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities served.
GHNHC provides primary and preventive medical and dental care for the entire family, as well as optometry, OB/GYN, pediatrics, internal medicine, and pharmacy services. Grace Hill provides transportation services, behavioral health, podiatry, WIC services, and extensive behavioral development services for children through two Children’s Developmental Center locations. It also provides care in homeless shelters and public housing units.
GHNHC accepts all patients regardless of their ability to pay, and offers a sliding fee scale to eligible patients. It is a Medicare and Medicaid participating provider, and accepts all MO HealthNet plans and several commercial insurance plans.
Grace Hill Neighborhood Health Centers is constructing a new state-of-the-art replacement facility to meet the needs of many of the City’s north side residents, and will soon relocate its Grace Hill South Health Center.
Its Children’s Developmental Center (CDC) was established in 1996 to offer parents and guardians a place where their children can receive help for emotional, behavioral and developmental issues. The Center utilizes psychologists, psychiatrists, a pediatric neurologist and others to improve social, developmental, mental, and general health outcomes for children, from infancy to high school.
Grace Hill also has a medical/legal collaborative through a grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health to assist patients and families with basic civil legal problems that affect a child’s health.
Grace Hill also offers a Centering Pregnancy Program where women have the opportunity to receive their prenatal care in a group setting that celebrates and empowers them to be their healthiest, and to have a healthy and fulfilling experience of pregnancy in order to best care for and nurture their growing babies.
