St Louis Connection:

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri, but spent the greater part of my childhood in St. Louis, Missouri. I attended elementary school in University City, middle school in Overland, and finished high school at Rosati-Kain High School. I have always loved to help people and enjoyed math and science tremendously. As a physician, I have been able to parlay my love for math and science to help people live healthier lives. Being able to make this positive difference in other people’s lives has made the stress and sacrifice to become a physician worth it. Although I had no family members who were physicians, I greatly appreciated the encouragement and mentoring I received in my formative years from Nathaniel Murdock, MD, Jonathan Reed, MD, and Frank Richards, MD and the late ob/gyn Eugene Taylor, MD. These men were able to combine brilliance with a superb bedside manner that I will always strive to emulate. When I am able to take a person who is down, and then treat, educate and empower him to be healthy so that he may enjoy all the fruits of his labor, then I feel I have done a good deed. I am so thankful that I own a business and have chosen a profession that enables me to serve those in need.
