St. Louis County Warming Shelter

St. Louis County partnered with The Salvation Army to provide expanded warming shelter services this winter at The Salvation Army Family Haven, located at 10740 Page Avenue (63132).

The warming shelter will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week between Monday, December 19 and Monday, March 13, 2017. The facility can accommodate up to 48 individuals.

“St. Louis County and The Salvation Army are providing professional services to our most vulnerable residents this winter,” County Executive Steve Stenger said. “No one should be left out in the cold.”

Salvation Army staff provides meals, laundry facilities and case management services to help those in need find housing.

“The Salvation Army Midland Division knows the immediate need for families and individuals to get out of the dangerously cold temperatures,” said Lt. Colonel Dan Jennings, The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Commander. “Our Family Haven facility will operate around the clock to help those in need. We appreciate St. Louis County partnering with The Salvation Army to assist our community.”
