Beyoncé fans had an additional reason to celebrate July 4th thanks to the surprise release of a new song called “Morning Dew (Donk).” The drop was released as a gift to the “BeyHive.” It is her first new release since her Grammy-winning album Cowboy Carter in 2024.

The song kicked off a 60-day countdown to Beyoncé’s birthday on September 4th. On that same day, she will re-release her second studio album, B’Day, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

“Morning Dew (Donk)” was co-written and produced with Pharrell Williams. It was recorded years ago but never released until now. The song was originally intended for the 2006 B’Day album.
