Hit Showtime drama Soul Food’s real-life loves Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker are celebrating the birth of their first child, daughter Sophie Tei-Naaki Lee Kodjoe.
Kodjoe, 31, and Parker, 33, got engaged last summer after spending five years as Damon Carter and Teri Joseph, a sizzling on-again, off-again couple. They plan to take marriage vows in May.
Parker will next be seen alongside actor Anthony Anderson in King’s Ransom, a comedy opening April 22. Kodjoe, meanwhile, is shooting a film titled The Gospel, which is near completion in Atlanta.
