The eclectic duo Big Boi and Andre 3000 are set to make their film debut this winter in Idlewild. The group will release a new jazz influenced album of the same name.
The film is about two struggling musicians in the depression riddled south. The album’s first single, “Idlewild Blues”, includes a trumpet and piano laced instrumental behind the group’s award-winning vocals. Both the film and the album are tentatively scheduled to be released in early December.
