Hip hop will be represented in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 thanks to rap groups Outkast and Salt-N-Pepa.
They will join Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden and The White Stripes.
To be eligible for nomination, artists have to be at least 25 years out from the release of their first commercial recording.
Outkast was selected to enter with their first nomination.
The full induction ceremony airs live Nov. 8 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Disney+ and arrives on Hulu the next day.
