William “Bill” Jones, Anheuser-Busch Cos., vice president, National Retail Sales, will be awarded the National Eagle Leadership Institute’s (NELI) CareerFOCUS Eagle Award at a ceremony in Kansas City, Friday, Nov. 18.
In addition to his A-B career, Jones is a local INROADS success story. He was an INROADS intern at Anheuser-Busch and he currently serves as chairman of the St. Louis chapter of INROADS.
He began his career at Anheuser-Busch in 1980 and, in his current role, oversees relationships with the top 50 off-premise accounts worldwide, including Wal-Mart, 7-Eleven, Safeway and Kroger.
Prior to this position, Jones was vice president national retail sales – mass merchandisers, club and drug channels.
His other previous positions have included assistant to the vice president – sales, national field sales manger, sales director for Michigan, region vice president for the north central region and vice president – business development group. A native of St. Louis, Jones is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
