State Rep. Del Taylor, a Democrat from St. Louis, has been appointed vice chair of Missouri’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Task Force.
Taylor will help oversee efforts focused on substance-abuse prevention, treatment access and recovery initiatives statewide. The task force works with health providers, state agencies and community organizations on issues including the opioid epidemic and other substance-use challenges.
