Katerina Canyon, executive director of The Peace Economy Project (PEP), will participate in the State of Public Safety in St. Louis summit on April 27, 2024 at Tegeler Hall on the Saint Louis University campus.
PEP advocates for a holistic approach to public safety that prioritizes community-led initiatives, economic development and job creation, enhanced health and social services, and comprehensive reform in law enforcement and criminal justice systems.
“Investing in economic opportunities, accessible health and social services, and nondiscriminatory law enforcement practices are essential steps toward building a peaceful and prosperous St. Louis for all its residents,” said Canyon.
