Nicole C. Wilson was installed as regional director for the Central Region of Apha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. during the organization’s 72nd Boule in Las Vegas, Nev.,.
Indianapolis businesswoman Kiahna W. Davis had served in the position since her election in 2022.
Under her leadership, Davis increased new and reactivated membership in Central Region to 9,200, raised $1.9 million in scholarships for Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Educational Advancement Foundation and invested $400,000 in professional leadership development.
Wilson, who also is from Indianapolis, is a Silver Star and Life Member of Alpha Mu Omega Chapter, where she has served in several key leadership roles, including president, parliamentarian, graduate advisor, Epistoleus, and historian.
She serves as Madam Walker Legacy Center board chair, Women’s Foundation of Indiana board chairs and is a member of the DePauw University board of trustees
The AKA Central Region includes members from eastern Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
