Former St. Louis City Counselor Sheena Hamilton has rejoined law firm of Dowd Bennett LLP as a partner after serving as St. Louis city counselor during the administration of former Mayor Tishaura Jones.
Hamilton previously worked for the Clayton-based law firm for nearly seven years, starting as an associate in 2015 and making partner in 2020. She left in September 2021 when then-Mayor Jones made Hamilton the first Black woman to serve as St. Louis city government’s chief attorney.
