Faith Townsell, a political science major at Saint Louis University, has been appointed to the Aspen Institute’s Rising Generations Strategy Group, a national advisory body within the organization’s Education & Society Program.
Townsell was one of 40 members selected for the inaugural advisory group, including eight young people. She will serve a three-year term, helping develop recommendations on K-12 education alongside leaders from business, the military and government.
The group’s first meeting is scheduled for July in Aspen, Colorado.
